We took our sweet beagle Lucy to the vet this week. He said, given her multiple issues (heart, eyes, GI, you name it she’s probably got it), she’s actually doing great. I asked about something and said it might just be due to her getting older. The vet reminded me of an important lesson I’ve learned here at work when he said, “Well, I don’t like to consider aging as a disease or a bad condition.” He’s absolutely right. We are all aging all of the time. Aging is not a disease.
