It’s been a bit like spinning plates (or juggling) to bring it to life, but our first new hire “cohort” week is here. Everyone in my department, and every division in my agency, and even an external agency, is providing a weeklong learning experience to the new employees we’ve hired in the past two months. I’m writing up a list of improvements I want to make for the next cohort, but I think I’m also going to take some time and deliberately make a list of successes with this new approach. One of those successes is definitely the willingness of everyone to be a partner.
